Research Project 2: Ed Chapman, Eric Johnson and colleagues reported the identification of SNAP-25 and synaptotagmin FRET substrates that permit measurements of botulinum neurotoxin activity in vitro and in vivo (living cells) at concentrations that approximate the level of detection in animal experiments.
